Oklahoma Pro Bono Legal Information, Resources and Assistance
The Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 6.1 Pro Bono Public Services states that “a lawyer should render public interest legal service and discharge this responsibility by providing professional services at no fee or a reduced fee to persons of limited means or to public service or charitable groups or organizations.”
Oklahoma Pro Bono Summary: Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma is a non-profit law firm serving low-income and elderly Oklahomans who have civil legal problems. It has offices throughout the state and has attorneys assigned to every county in Oklahoma helping people who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
