Virginia Pro Bono Legal Information, Resources and Assistance

Virginia Pro Bono General Overview: Two of the main pro bono service providers in Virginia are Legal Aid and Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV).

Legal Aid Helpline: Is available 24 hours. Call 9-5 M-F to reach the local legal aid office.
After hours and weekends, callers will hear pre-recorded legal information on a variety of topics.

Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV): is a nonprofit law firm that serves clients throughout Northern Virginia. LSNV provides free civil legal services to low-income, elderly, or disabled individuals. LSNV serves the residents of the City of Alexandria, the Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William and the cities and towns adjacent to those counties.

To get help LSNV can be contacted by phone, clients can walk in, or apply on-line.
